Halo Score & AI Transparency Notice

How Studio Halo Uses Data, Analytics, and AI

Version 1.0 | Last Updated: August 20, 2026

Hanna Creative Co., a Massachusetts corporation, operates the Studio Halo platform and offers services under the HALO SCORE brand. This notice provides a plain-language explanation of the Halo Score and AI-assisted features. It supplements, but does not replace, the Studio Halo Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and AI, Data & Intellectual Property Rights Policy.

1. What the Halo Score Is

The Halo Score is a proprietary business-brand analytics measure. It may combine quantitative information concerning website traffic, search visibility, social-media activity and engagement, media visibility, and related business signals with proprietary normalization, weighting, qualitative assessment, cultural-recognition analysis, editorial frameworks, and interpretive judgment. It is designed to help business users evaluate brand visibility, resonance, prestige, and related marketing attributes.

2. What the Halo Score Is Not

A Halo Score is not an official industry certification, consumer report, credit score, appraisal, audit opinion, assurance report, professional license, or guarantee of commercial performance. Studio Halo is not designed to score natural persons for employment, credit, housing, insurance, healthcare, education, legal rights, or access to essential services. Outputs should be reviewed using human business judgment and appropriate source verification.

3. Data Sources

Depending on the features enabled for an account, Studio Halo may use Customer-authorized connected sources, public or licensed business and media information, third-party reference data, and platform-generated usage or operational information. Customer-connected data is processed for that Customer's own analytics, scoring, reporting, support, security, and quality assurance. Public or third-party source availability and rights may change, and Studio Halo may modify or remove a source or feature when continued use is restricted, unreliable, or legally uncertain.

4. AI-Assisted Features

Studio Halo uses automated, statistical, machine-learning, and generative-AI techniques for limited functions, including classification and Customer-specific report generation. The current implementation uses a third-party commercial AI provider for inference. It does not train or fine-tune a Studio Halo model on Customer Data, create Customer embeddings, or maintain a Customer vector/RAG database.

5. Customer Data Is Not Used for Generalized Cross-Customer Training

Under the current product architecture and policies, Customer Data that identifies a Customer or its end users is not used to train, fine-tune, or improve a model, scoring system, benchmark, or product made available to unrelated customers. Customer-connected analytics, search, and social data are not used for cross-customer benchmarking. Any future proposal to materially broaden that practice would require the authorization or other lawful basis described in the governing agreements and would not be implemented through a silent retroactive policy change.

6. Outputs Can Change and May Be Inaccurate

Halo Scores, reports, recommendations, benchmarks, and other outputs may be incomplete, delayed, non-unique, or inaccurate and may change as source data, source availability, refresh schedules, methodology, weights, AI behavior, market conditions, or qualitative judgments change. Data may be real-time, near-real-time, or periodic depending on the source. Studio Halo does not guarantee a particular ranking, reputation, media result, search position, lead volume, revenue, or other business outcome.

7. AI Transparency and Human Review

Reports and recommendations that are generated or materially assisted by AI should be understood as AI-assisted business analytics. Studio Halo will provide or preserve additional notices, labels, or machine-readable markings when applicable law requires them for a particular feature, output, or market. Customers remain responsible for reviewing outputs before relying on them or publishing them.

8. Corrections and Source Challenges

A person or organization may challenge materially inaccurate, outdated, misattributed, or allegedly unauthorized source information using the legal/privacy contact method designated on the Studio Halo website or within the Services. Hanna Creative may verify the request, consult the source, correct or remove information where appropriate, and recalculate affected outputs where reasonably practicable. This process does not require disclosure of proprietary source arrangements, model information, weights, prompts, or methodology.

9. Proprietary Methodology

Studio Halo may explain at a high level the categories of information and analytical concepts used by the Service, but the selection, normalization, weighting, scoring logic, qualitative frameworks, prompts, workflows, thresholds, models, and other non-public methodology are proprietary and may constitute trade secrets. Publication of a Halo Score does not disclose or license the underlying methodology. Questions about this notice may be directed through the legal/privacy contact method designated on the Studio Halo website or within the Services.
